This residential house near the former capital city of Bonn is a quiet and harmonious home fitted with solid Douglas fir wide planks by HIRAM Habitat. Above all else, light wood and a subdued colour palette played a major role in the furnishing of their home.

Timeless and cosy Scandinavian interior design - In this private home, the solid wide plank floor made of Douglas fir were attached to a wooden substructure with integrated underfloor heating. After installation the wide planks were treated with white pigmented lye and white soap.
