Solid wood panels for walls and ceilings
Our solid wood wall panels are not only a stylish design feature but also a functional building element. The solid hardwood offers predictable fire behavior and a slow burn rate. Finished with special hardwax oils, the panels have a durable, low-maintenance surface that is antibacterial and highly resistant to stains and wear. Made from natural ingredients, these oils create healthy, comfortable interiors—perfect for residential, hospitality, and commercial spaces.

Whether as wall or ceiling cladding, in furniture, or for counters, reception areas, and bars—our wall panels are versatile and create impactful design accents.
Diverse Color Nuances
Treatment with natural hardwax oils gives the panels a light, airy feel through delicate tones or creates an elegant finish with darker shades. The oil forms a protective, breathable layer on the wood. The matte, oxidatively dried surface ensures a natural appearance while making the panels durable and resilient.
Refine wall panels with hardwax oils
Our wall panels are finished with a specialized hardwax oil made from high-quality, natural oils such as linseed, sunflower, and jojoba oil, combined with modified alkyd resin and beeswax, carnauba wax, and candelilla wax. This treatment creates an exceptionally durable, low-maintenance, and long-lasting surface that is resistant to wear and abrasion, providing lasting protection. The hardwax oil meets the requirements of the general building authority approval (DIBt) and is certified antibacterial—making it ideal for high-traffic areas such as restaurants, daycare centers, or spa facilities. In addition, the surface is dirt-resistant, easy to clean, and particularly suitable for households with dust allergies, as it attracts less dust. Tested according to DIN 68861-1B, the hardwax oil withstands a variety of everyday liquids including wine, coffee, cola, and tea. It also complies with DIN EN 71-3, the safety standard applicable to toys.
Solid wood wall panels – advantages in fire protection
The surface of the solid wood is charred, forming a natural protective layer that reduces heat transfer and significantly slows the burn rate. This layer helps the panels retain their shape and load-bearing capacity longer than many other materials. Unlike wall coverings made from multilayer boards, which often contain adhesives or flammable core layers, solid wood panels have a homogeneous structure that reacts more slowly and predictably in the event of a fire. This allows even high fire safety requirements to be met—without compromising the natural beauty of the wood.
If trees had names, we’d know each of them personally.
At HIRAM Habitat, we prioritize creating value from the very foundation - beginning with the forest itself. This is where our journey starts, and it continues in the production facilities of our partners, where traditional craftsmanship is utilized to produce exceptional wood products for home living. Our brand is supported by our own timber trading, ensuring that every tree selected for our products is carefully inspected by our forestry experts and chosen according to the highest quality standards. Even in the forest, each tree is marked and designated for its intended use. With years of experience, our team assesses characteristics such as branching, straightness, and the growth patterns of the tree's annual rings.
Our wood mainly comes from the Black Forest and Eastern France.
