A surface as vibrant as the sea and as natural as the forest. Thanks to its unique grain and natural color variations, ash wood is particularly well suited for the wavy texture of the OZEAN wall and ceiling panels. The characteristic darker brown heartwood and lighter sapwood of ash create a harmonious transition from warm browns to soft cream tones. The irregular planing results in a wood cladding with a 3D structure and an exclusive tactile feel.

Ash wood is extremely robust and hard. When finished with natural hard wax oils, it forms a functional surface and a versatile design element. The oil provides a protective layer while allowing the ash to breathe. The matte, oxidatively dried surface gives the panels a natural finish. The oils reliably protect the wall panels against abrasion, foot traffic, and common liquids such as wine, coffee, or cola. The surface is certified antibacterial and easy to maintain, making it ideal for gastronomy, kindergartens, or spa areas. At the same time, the oils meet building authority requirements (DIBt) and safety standards according to DIN EN 71-3, allowing the panels to be used safely in public or child-friendly spaces.
