Thanks to its unique grain and natural color variations, ash wood is particularly well suited for the wave-like texture of OZEAN wall and ceiling panels. The characteristic darker heartwood and lighter sapwood create a harmonious transition from warm brown tones to soft cream shades. The irregular planing process gives the wood cladding a dynamic 3D structure and an exclusive tactile experience.
Ash – Versatile and Functional
Ash wood is extremely durable and hard. When finished with natural hardwax oils, it becomes a functional surface and a versatile design element. The oil forms a protective layer on the ash wood while maintaining breathability. The matte, oxidatively dried surface gives the wall panels a naturally refined finish. We source the ash wood for our OZEAN wall and ceiling panels exclusively from French forests and sustainable forestry.
