Minimalist design meets a consistent choice of sustainable materials – the foundation of this unique project. The vision of the clients and architects: a retreat that combines simplicity and sustainability. This was brought to life through a solid concrete base, a black wooden façade, and the use of silver fir wood for floors, walls, ceilings, and furniture.

With their combination of natural materials and minimalist design, the holiday homes KLEINE BLEIBE offer a serene retreat full of tranquility and relaxation. Nestled in nature and close to the historic village center, the thoughtfully arranged homes provide expansive views of the surrounding landscape. The vision: sustainability and timeless architecture that seamlessly integrates with the region’s traditional building style.

Inside, silver fir takes center stage, unifying the interior design into a cohesive whole. The striking contrast with the black stained façade creates unique highlights. HIRAM Habitat silver fir solid wood floorboards, complemented by matching staircase steps from HIRAM Holz, are color-coordinated with the wall and ceiling paneling. Treated with white-pigmented lye and white oil, the surfaces achieve a uniform look. The room-length floorboards, impressively 300 mm wide, create a clean, minimalist aesthetic. The low-knot URBAN Classic selection ensures a calm and harmonious appearance. White-stained softwood sandwich panels were used for wall elements, furniture, and shelving.

Walls, façades, ceilings, insulation, roofs, and furniture – almost every element of these houses is made of wood. The consistent use of sustainable materials, including our silver fir solid wood floorboards, was a central focus in realizing this architectural vision.
