Relaxation zones with character – OCEAN oak wall panels in the wellness area

At the long-established Iodine Sulphur Bath on Lake Tegernsee, the newly redesigned healingSPA has been extended with two high-quality relaxation rooms – featuring solid oak OCEAN wall panels. These walls play with light, material, and structure: the wave-like texture of the planed surface creates a vibrant, sensual atmosphere that appeals both visually and to the touch.

Natural appeal that makes an impact

Especially in wellness areas where calm, natural materials and a premium ambiance are key, the OCEAN panel reveals its strengths: the warm tone of the oak feels both soothing and elegant, while the textured surface, enhanced by indirect lighting, creates a dynamic play of light and shadow that enhances and accentuates the architecture of the space.

Functional aesthetics – thanks to hardwax oil

For its use in the healingSPA, the panels’ surface was treated with a natural hardwax oil – a choice that balances beauty with functionality. The oil gives the solid oak a durable, hygienic, and easy-care finish, specially developed for demanding environments such as spas, wellness spaces, and hospitality areas. Key benefits include:
