Holiday home KLEINE BLEIBE, Montabaur, Germany
Minimalist design meets a consistent choice of sustainable materials – the foundation of this unique project. The vision of the clients and architects: a retreat that combines simplicity and sustainability. This was brought to life through a solid concrete base, a black wooden façade, and the use of silver fir wood for floors, walls, ceilings, and furniture.
Natural Architect villa, Königswinter
Vertical grain Silver fir wood and concrete, complemented by a recurring color scheme, turn this private villa into a natural and nature-inspired home. Bringing together two realms, it embodies a thoughtfully crafted, sustainable concept, paying close attention to every detail. HIRAM Habitat Silver Fir rift-cut floorboards provide a subtle and healthy foundation for living.
Tiny House
A sustainable tiny house built with pure-grade construction methods. This project was created based on a design by students from the Faculty of Architecture at KIT - Karlsruhe. The HIRAM Habitat solid wood planks and stairs made from silver fir, as well as the Douglas fir decking boards, fit into the concept of using fully recyclable materials.
Private Residence, Baden, Germany
A 300-year-old half-timbered house near Oberkirch, in Southern Germany, was renovated by the owners with a great deal of personal effort and fitted with HIRAM Habitat solid wood planks made of silver fir wood.
Country home, Blackforest, Germany
Along with wall and ceiling, the home owners decided for solid wooden floorboards by HIRAM Habitat made of silver fir. The homeowners of this country house opted for a modular full wood structured house, of which the wall and ceiling sections are made entirely of wood without use of any chemical glues.
