Solid Douglas fir wide planks by HIRAM Habitat were installed in this unique Holz100 "roof-only house" on the Schlei, Germany's only fjord. In keeping with the principle of using building materials that are as chemical-free as possible, the owners opted for solid wood planks in special dimensions.

This unique holiday home project near Hamburg was built with Holz100 house modules from the Austrian company Thoma. The completely glue-free wooden construction was complemented with Douglas fir solid wood floorboards and Douglas fir stair treads in the interior and offers a refreshingly modern overall appearance.
